Virtual staging for real estate photographers

You already shoot the vacant listings. Adding virtual staging lets you charge more per shoot, deliver a finished product, and give agents one less vendor to manage.

Why it fits your business

The margin math

At $10 per photo through Staged by Noon, here's what a few common resale prices look like:

You charge per photoYour costYour margin per photoOn a 5-photo listing
$20$10$10$50
$25$10$15$75
$35$10$25$125

Our full-listing package ($49 for up to six photos) brings your cost down further. Ask about volume pricing if you shoot a lot of vacant homes.

A simple workflow

  1. Shoot and edit as usual. Bright, level, wide shots of empty rooms work best.
  2. Upload each room, choose a style that fits the home, and tweak anything you don't love.
  3. Download with the “Virtually Staged” label and deliver both the staged and original photos.

Each room takes about ten seconds to stage, so it fits into your normal editing session.

How to pitch it to agents

“For vacant listings, I can now include virtually staged versions of the main rooms, labeled and MLS-ready, delivered with the rest of your photos. It's $25 a room, and you don't need another vendor.”

Then show one before/after from a home they know. That usually sells it.

Keep it compliant

Staged photos generally need to be disclosed. Our staging only adds furniture and decor, and every download can carry a label. See disclosure rules for virtual staging for the details.
